We write September 2009 and the mighty EE ship are about to get rolling again. After some time in difficulty we're now back on writing new material for an upcoming album.

The future's looking bright at the moment!

There hasn't been a a lot of news lately has it? Well, maybe that won't change or maybe it will! There has been a real lowdown for EE lately. This mostly due to circumstances out of our control related to close family. We're all hoping for a soon recovery and that we will be able to get the ship rolling once again. in the meantime you could keep up with us on myspace at myspace.com/electricearthband. I will also try to write a short note here now and then. If you have any questions please post them to electricearth(a)telia.com and I will try to answer all of you. Sincerely Tommy Scalisi

Electric Earth put great importance on artistic freedom and musical integrity. The members are influenced by many of the most creative and open minded musicians and bands in the history of music – like Kiss, Black Sabbath, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Led Zeppelin. On stage Electric Earth add some extra energy and personality, which they have proved on prestigious festivals like Metaltown, Westgotha, Gothenburg Metal Festival and 2000 Decibel.

October 8 saw the release of "Vol II - Words Unspoken", their first CD for the classic Belgian Mausoleum label, in USA and Canada. The album, which was released in Europe during spring, is distributed by Allegro and Fusion III Distribution. "Vol II - Words Unspoken" will also be available from iTunes soon.

The band recently signed a new distribution deal with Swedish MusicSpot for their debut album "Organic Songs - Volume One", which features their cover of Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", and their new CD-EP "Selling Souls", which means that both records are available worldwide.
